CSAB Counseling 2024: Registration and Choice Filling Starts

The Last Date for Choice Filling is 3rd August till 5 pm.

Two special rounds of counseling are being conducted by CSAB between 31 July and 14 August for the seats that remained vacant after JoSAA Counseling 2024 of 98 top engineering institutes including NIT-IIIT of the country. Whose registration and choice filling will start from 31 July 10 am.

This will be the Counseling Process

Students will have to register themselves in CSAB counseling and pay the participation fee and do choice filling.

Such students who have not been allotted any seat in JoSAA counselling or are not satisfied with their allotted seat, must participate in the CSAB counselling being conducted in two rounds for the vacant seats of NIT, TripleIT.

Such students participating in this counselling, who want to participate in CSAB counselling while securing their allotted NIT-TripleIT seat in JoSAA counselling by paying partial admission fee, will have to deposit Rs. 5000 as participation fee to participate in CSAB counselling.

Apart from this, such students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat in JoSAA counselling can also withdraw and cancel their allotted seat and participate in CSAB counselling.

These students will also have to deposit participation fee of Rs. 17000 only. But those students who have not been allotted any seat in JoSAA counselling will have to deposit the entire participation fee of Rs. 45,000 to participate in CSAB counselling.

All these students will have to fill the choices of all the college branches again in CSAB counselling.\

The Vacant Seats are only Estimated, Do not get Confused

The vacant seats of NIT-IIIT were not released till late night, whereas the time for releasing the seats was 10 am on 30th July.

In the choice filling of CSAB Special Round Counselling, students should fill as many college choices as possible according to their interest, because the seat matrix released on the website is only estimated, there is a possibility of more seats remaining vacant than this.

Also, if students who were allotted any college seat in JoSAA counseling are participating in special round counseling and they do not get a better college seat than the one they got, then the college seat allotted to them in JoSAA counseling will be re-allocated.

In such a case, these students should fill their priority list by keeping only those college branches which are better than their previously allotted JoSAA college seat because if they are allotted a new college branch in CSAB counseling, then their previous JoSAA seat will be cancelled and the newly allotted college seat will be considered final.
