Seat Allocation of Second Round on 10 August

After the seat allocation of first round of CSAB counseling for 13,466 vacant seats in 98 colleges including NIT, IIIT of the country, seat allocation of second round will be released on 10 August.

NIT at rank 10 lakh 15,896 and IIIT at rank 91 thousand 175

As per the data released after the first round of seat allocation of CSAB special counseling, students of rank 1015896 from open category have been allotted NIT from gender neutral pool, who were allotted civil branch from home state quota in NIT Sikkim, while the closing rank of NIT in open from female pool was 1221 636, this girl got Artificial Intelligence branch of NIT Sikkim from home state quota.

Also, the closing rank of IIIT from gender neutral pool was 91175 and from female pool were 125397.

The closing rank of GFTI was 1085314 from gender neutral pool and 1172094 from female pool. After the first round of seat allocation, students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat can surrender their allotted seat and go to the next round of counseling or can also withdraw from counseling by withdrawing the allotted seat.

Students had the last chance to surrender their allotted seat till 7 August. Students can get the fee refunded by surrendering their allotted seat only in the first round of online reporting.

CSAB will refund the remaining fee after deducting the counseling fee of Rs 5000. Apart from this, if the student withdraws the allotted seat of JoSAA and gets the refund, then the remaining fee will be refunded after deducting the counseling fee of Rs 12000.

Students cannot withdraw from their allotted seat after second round of seat allotment nor any refund will be given if the student leaves the seat on his own.

Surrender the seat after thinking carefully

Surrender the seat after thinking carefully otherwise the year will be ruined. Thousands of students were not able to get any new seat in the first seat allocation, so the seats they got in JoSAA counseling have been re-allocated.

Apart from this, after the first round of seat allocation, those students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat can surrender their allotted seat and participate in the next round of counseling and can also withdraw the allotted seat.

A large number of students are surrendering their seats as they are not satisfied with their allotted seats, but students should take the decision to surrender the seat after thinking carefully because after surrendering the seat, if no seat is allotted in the second round, then their year will be ruined because after CSAB, there will be no more counseling of NIT-IIIT. This is the last chance for students to surrender and withdraw the seat.

Students can surrender their allotted seat in the first round of online reporting itself and get the fee refunded. CSAB will refund the remaining fee after deducting the counseling fee of Rs 5000.

Apart from this, if the student withdraws the allotted seat of JoSAA and gets a refund, then the remaining fee will be refunded after deducting the counseling fee of Rs 12000.
