CSAB Counselling 2024 Registration and Choice Filling Date Extended

Two special rounds of counselling are being conducted by CSAB for 13 thousand 466 seats lying vacant in 98 top engineering institutes including NIT- IIIT of the country.

The date of registration and choice filling of counselling has been extended by CSAB. Now students can register till 12 noon on 3rd August and fill college choices till 9 am on 4th August. After this, the first seat allotment will be released on 5th August at 10 am.

Golden Chance to Correct Errors Made in JoSAA Counselling 2024

This is a golden occasion for students who made any mistake in NIT- IIIT choice filling in JoSAA counselling 2024 because in CSAB counselling 2024, all students have been given the option to fill 540 college branch choices for a aggregate of 13466 seats in 98 institutes including all NITs- IIITs.

This includes 299 branch choices of 32 NITs, 95 branch choices of 26 IIITs and 173 branch choices of 37 GFTIs. In the special round of CSAB counselling 2024, students who haven’t been distributed any seat in JoSAA counselling 2024 can participate.

Also all those students who have participated in JoSAA counselling 2024 earlier and have deposited partial admission fees after college allocation by NIT system and also those students who have left the allotted in JoSAA counselling are all eligible to participate in CSAB Counselling 2024. 

In the special round of choice filling, students should fill as numerous college choices as possible according to their interest, because the seat matrix released on the website is only estimated. There’s a possibility of  further seats remaining vacant than this.

Also, students who were allocated any college seat in JoSAA counselling, if they’re participating in the special round counselling, and they don’t get a better  college seat than the college seat they got, then the college seat allotted to them in JoSAA comforting will be re-allocated.
