NIT-IIIT CSAB Counselling 2023: NIT At AIR 117220 & IIIT At AIR 88070

Online Reporting Of First Round Till August 10

After the CSAB counselling 2023 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment for 11,295 vacant seats in 93 colleges including NITs, IIITs of the country, the online reporting can be done till 5 pm today, August 10. The seat allotment for the second round of CSAB will be released on August 13.

NIT Seat Allocation At 117220 Rank & IIIT Allocation At AIR 88070

According to the data released after the first round seat allotment of CSAB 2023 special counselling, 117220 AIR ranker student from open category have been allotted NIT seat from gender neutral pool, who has got NIT Sikkim seat from Home state quota.

While the closing rank of NIT open from female pool was 560,594 which was allocated to a girl who got the electronics and communication branch of NIT Mizoram under home state quota.The closing rank of IIIT was 88070 from gender neutral pool and 111692 from female pool.

The closing rank of GFTI was 941896 from gender neutral pool and 349592 from female pool. After the first round seat allotment, such students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat, those students can surrender their allotted seat and go to the next round of counselling and can also check out of counselling by withdrawing the allotted seat.

Students have the last chance for seat surrender withdrawal till August 12. Students can surrender their allotted seats and get the fees refunded only in online reporting of the first round. CSAB 2023 will deduct the counselling fee of Rs 4000 and will return the remaining fee.

If the students withdraw the allotted seat of JoSAA and get the refund done, then after deducting the counselling fee of Rs 11000, the remaining fee will be returned. Students cannot withdraw from their allotted seats after the second round of seat allotment, nor will be given any refund if students leave their seats on their own.
