CSAB special counselling is being conducted for 13,466 vacant seats in NIT, IIIT and GFTI colleges of the country. Seat allocation for the second round of this counselling will be released on 10th August.
A large number of students have surrendered their seats as they were not satisfied with their allotted seats.
Also, thousands of students who did not get any new seat in the first seat allocation have been re-allocated the seats they got in JoSAA counselling.
This will be the final admission process of NIT-IIIT
The students who will be allotted NIT-IIIT in the second round of CSAB counseling will have to do physical reporting in the allotted colleges between 10th to 14th August to complete the final admission process.
Also, if the students who secure a seat in JoSAA are not allotted any new college in CSAB counseling, then the seat allotted to them in JoSAA will be re-allocated.
The seat acceptance fee, partial admission fee and institute admission fee deposited by these students during JoSAA and CSAB counseling will be adjusted in the college fees.
For final admission in NIT-IIIT, the students will have to go to the website of their allotted colleges and get complete information about the remaining fees and necessary documents.
