Final Admission Process to be Completed by August 14
Seat allocation for the second and final round of CSAB Special Counseling being conducted for vacant seats in NIT, IIIT and GFTI colleges of the country has been released a day before the given schedule.
Students who will be allotted any college for the first time in the second round will have to confirm their seat by August 12 by depositing the institute admission fee in online reporting and uploading the required documents. After confirming the seat, these students will have to complete the final admission process in their allotted college by August 14.
Fee Discount Will be Given on Annual Income and Category
The students who have confirmed their seats in the first round of CSAB counseling and have chosen the slide and float option will have to do physical reporting with the remaining college fees and necessary documents to complete the final admission process by 14th August in the colleges allotted to them in the second round.
Students whose parents’ annual income is less than one lakh rupees and SC-ST PWD category students are given full discount in tuition fees in NIT. Along with this, students whose parents’ annual income is between one to five lakhs get two-third discount in tuition fees.
The seat acceptance fee, partial admission fee and institute admission fee deposited by the students during JoSAA and CSAB counseling will be adjusted in the fees of the allotted colleges. Students will have to visit the website of their allotted colleges to get all the information about the remaining college fees, required documents and the date on which they have to report according to their allotted branch.
No Refund on Leaving the Allotted Seat
If a student leaves the seat allotted to him in the second round of seat allocation, he will not get any refund of the fees. Students who participated in CSAB by withdrawing or cancelling their seats in JoSAA, if these students are not allotted any seat now, then the remaining fees will be refunded after deducting a fee of Rs. 5000.
Apart from this, students who surrendered the seat allotted to them in the first round of CSAB after JoSAA counseling and now are not allotted any seat, then the remaining fees will be refunded after deducting a fee of Rs. 10,000.
