CUET UG Exam for 300 Universities will be held from May 8
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025) for more than 300 universities and institutions of the country for the University Grants Commission (UGC) between May 8 and June 1.
The last date for online application for the exam was extended till March 24. Till then about 14 lakh candidates have applied. After this, NTA opened the correction window, in which candidates will be able to correct the mistakes in their online application from March 26 to March 28 till 11:50. In this, the candidate can also change the selected exam city and subject.
Correction Window Open till March 28
Candidates have been given three days to correct the mistakes in the online application. This time 47 central, 39 state, 35 deemed and 177 private universities are enrolled in the exam. Admission will also be available for campuses of 10 national institutes across the country. In total, 308 universities and national institutes will give admission through this exam.
Earlier March 22 was the last date, till then 13.77 lakh forms were filled. When the last date was extended by two days to March 24, about 23 thousand forms increased. Now around 14 lakh applications have been made.
Can Make Changes in the City and Subject
Candidates can also make changes in his exam city. The preference of the chosen exam cities can be changed. However, this will happen only on the basis of his permanent and current address. On the other hand, the candidate can also make changes in his chosen subject.
Candidates can appear for the exam in maximum subjects, which include language and General Aptitude Test (GAT). Candidates will have to pay a fee for correction. Candidates can make corrections only once. Once the correction is made and submitted, no changes can be made after that.
