The Student Interaction Program was Organized Under the Kamyaab Kota Campaign
Kota is known throughout the country as a coaching city. Every year lakhs of students come here to prepare for competitive exams like medical and engineering. This journey is also challenging for the students, in which sometimes lack of confidence, sometimes social pressure and sometimes distraction of technical means come to the fore.
With the aim of understanding these challenges and giving the right guidance to the students, Dinner with Collector program was organized under Kamyaab Kota campaign in Kota city on 2 September, Tuesday.
In this program, District Collector Piyush Samaria openly communicated with the students and answered their questions. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inspiring, where administrative officers and students were able to discuss face to face.

Confidence is the First Step to Success
The program started with questions related to self-confidence. When the students asked how to increase self-confidence during preparation, Collector Samaria clearly said that preparation is the real key to self-confidence.
The better the preparation, the more self-confidence will increase automatically. She gave the message to the students that instead of being afraid, they should focus on practice and continuity. He especially advised students not to overuse tools like Google and Chat GPT. Use technology in a restrained manner and always remember to take guidance from the teachers.
Protection from Peer Pressure and Bad Company
Thousands of students live in coaching city Kota, where the danger of peer pressure and bad company also remains. On this subject, Samaria said, if you know what is bad and who are your enemies, then you have already won half the battle. He advised the students to be alert and choose good companions.
Experience of Becoming an IAS
When he was asked how is his experience of becoming an IAS, he described it as God’s grace. He said that getting an opportunity to do social service is the biggest fortune of life. He gave a message to the students that success is not limited to position or rank, but its real purpose should be to bring positive change in the society.
Message to Deal with Paper Leak and Corruption
Today, problems like paper leak and corruption come up from time to time in the education sector. On this subject, Samaria said that there are shortcomings everywhere, but this does not mean that students should stop working hard. The real goal is your life and future. So always focus on your preparation and hard work.
Routine and Physical Health
In a busy life, students often do not pay attention to their routine and health. Samaria said that students should recognize their potential, give adequate rest to the body and do regular exercise. He especially emphasized on the habit of getting up early in the morning, which makes life energetic.
Small Goals and Smart Work
He said that students should set small goals along with big goals. When small goals are accomplished, confidence increases and it becomes easier to achieve big goals. On the importance of smart work, he said that recognize your shortcomings, use time properly and learn from mistakes.
Overthinking and Mental Balance
A big problem of today’s generation is overthinking. On this, Samaria said that students should also pay attention to their interests and learn to balance their studies with their work. Thoughts can be controlled with practice. A large number of girl students became a part of this dialogue and asked their questions with ease.
The Dinner with Collector program organized under the Kamyaab Kota Abhiyan was not just a dialogue, but it was also a practical guidance for the students to deal with the challenges of life and career. Collector Piyush Samaria gave a clear message to the students that confidence, discipline and hard work are the real keys to success.
This program proved that if the administration and students work together, not only can the preparation for the exam be easy, but every challenge of life can also be faced with confidence.
