Father Quit His Job & Now is An Agricultural Labourer, Mother is An Anganwadi Worker

If hard work is done in silence then success makes noise. While studying with such silence, the Prince of Fatehpur village of Talav Panchayat of Khatauli region in Kota has fulfilled the long cherished dream of his parents and family. In this village of around 150 dwellings, Prince will become the first Doctor.

The father of Prince works as a farm labourer, and the mother is an Anganwadi Employee. Earlier, Prince’s father Lakshmichand would work at a medicine shop earlier, where he used to think that someday his son will also become a doctor and people will buy medicines from his prescription. Suddenly, life took a turn and Lakshmichand lost his job. After this, the condition of the family deteriorated and presently he is an agricultural laborer.

Prince has secured 675 marks in NEET, Category Rank is 656 and All India Rank is 2263. Prince is hopeful of getting allied AIIMS. Prince will be the first child not only from his family but also from the village to do MBBS from AIIMS. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the village due to the success of the Prince.

Prince told that my initial studies were done in Khatauli only. After studying till 10th, I took admission in Itawah school in 11th. In such a situation, he had to travel about 25 kilometers to the school to study every day. Sometimes it used to take hours to wait for the buses.

He studied in Hindi medium from Rajasthan Board. He scored 93.17 in 10th and 96.20 in 12th. After preparing for NEET from home, I got 583 marks in my first attempt. Then felt that if the preparation was done with coaching then maybe the results would have been better. The family had no money and were not able to send him for coaching.

He talked to many people in this regard. Some advised to join ALLEN, some asserted on preparation for NEET from home. He interacted with ALLEN’s Vice President Dr. Vipin Yogi who inquired about the family and got me admission in ALLEN. Here 90 percent of my fee was waived off and arrangements for accommodation were also made. Due to this, I studied diligently. This is the reason that good marks were obtained this year and now it seems that admission will be available in allied AIIMS.

Studied Hard For Admission in Govt. Medical College

Prince told that when the teachers informed him to crack NEET to become a doctor, he started preparing for NEET. I knew that if the marks are less than one level then the fees will be very high. The family did not have that much money to pay for fees, so I took this target and studied hard for admission in Government Medical College.

Burnt Midnight Oil To Crack NEET

He lived a life of poverty in the village. The situation was such that often there were power failures in the village. In such a situation, one had to read in the light of the torch. The circumstances were adverse but father never let me get weak.

He would say you continue your studies with passion, if you want to become a doctor. Taking inspiration from his words, I just used to concentrate on my studies.

NEET Success Was Like A Dream Come True

Father Lakshmichand Dhakad told that clearing NEET Exam by Prince was like a dream come true for us. I am 12th pass, worked at a medical store for a few days. I used to think that it would be good if my son becomes a doctor.

Later he lost the job of helper at the shop and now is raising his family by working in other’s agricultural fields. People used to say that studies cost a lot of money. I used to tell Prince that you keep studying and don’t worry.

He achieved distinction in all subjects in 10th. I somehow managed to fulfill Prince’s dream by working in other’s fields on daily wages. His mother also works as an Anganwadi worker. He was a student of Hindi medium, and also his admission in ALLEN was a little late, so Prince studied day and night to cover the syllabus.

Prince told that along with 12th, I could not understand how to prepare for NEET. In such a situation, I insisted my father to buy him a smartphone. He somehow managed to get me a smartphone by saving money. From this I watched videos on YouTube and tried to understand all the topics.

This is how you can score good marks. Now after doing MBBS, I want to go into surgery. I am interested in Cardiology and Neuro branch.
