Kota Coaching City Becomes the Capital of Education
Today, Kota is not just a city but has become the coaching capital of the country. Thousands of students come to Kota to find their way to success not only from different states of India but also from foreign countries like Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Gulf countries. Every year lakhs of parents reach here with the dream of making their children doctors or engineers.
According to the leading coaching institutes of Kota, one out of every four students getting admission in medical and engineering colleges of the country has studied from Kota’s coaching. The performance of the students here in difficult exams like NEET and JEE has always been commendable.
For example, Nitin Gupta topped in engineering in 2000, Neel Krishna in JEE Main in 2024 and Ved Lahoti in JEE Advanced 2024. Talking about medical, names like Lokesh Agarwal in 2010 and recently Tejas Singh, Prachitha, Neha K Mane and Majin Mansoor have brought laurels to Kota.
So far, more than 30 lakh students have received coaching from Kota. Many institutes have branches across the country, but Kota’s studies, atmosphere and discipline are something else.
Students who have studied here say that in Kota they get a peer group that motivates them to study. Facilities like doubt counter, regular tests, detailed analysis and counseling are helpful in studies.
Hostel, PG and mess arrangements have also been made keeping in mind the comfort and health of the students. Here, availability of food from every state is ensured.
The teachers teaching in Kota are educated from the country’s prestigious institutes like IIT and AIIMS, who provide appropriate guidance to the students for competitive exams.
JEE Advanced 2024 topper Ved Lahoti, who is now studying at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), says that the disciplined and supportive environment of Kota helps the student to reach his goal. Ajay Kumar, who came from Himachal, also said that he took admission here only after seeing the results of Kota.
Kota is no longer just a city, but a platform where students from India and abroad give shape to their dreams. Study environment, administrative support and excellent teachers – all these make Kota a center of education.
