Monali Amrute’s Dream Comes True, will Study in Sheopur Government Medical College in Madhya Pradesh
Kota, known as the Kashi of Education, has become a powerful vehicle for social change. Talented students are being nurtured and promoted without any discrimination. Under the Shiksha Sambal Yojana, many poor and meritorious students have given wings to their dreams.
One of them is Monali Amrute, a resident of Athner tehsil in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh, who has achieved a remarkable performance in NEET-UG 2025 and has now secured an MBBS seat at the Government Medical College, Sheopur.
Monali passed the Shiksha Sambal exam conducted by the LN Maheshwari Parmarth Trust, and based on this, she secured the opportunity to prepare for the NEET at the ALLEN Career Institute in Kota. The scheme provided free coaching, accommodation, and food. This is why the mere three thousand rupees given by her father upon moving to Kota couldn’t even last the entire year.
Monali explains, “Our family’s financial situation is extremely weak. My father is a farmer, and the family only has two acres of land, which barely provides enough food. In such circumstances, my dream of becoming a doctor seemed unattainable. But the Shiksha Sambal Yojana changed my life. I received free education and accommodation in Kota, which allowed me to fully focus on my studies.”
Monali scored 496 marks in NEET 2025, achieving an All India Rank of 56,000 and an OBC Category Rank of 27,186. This success is a testament to her continued hard work and the support she received from the Shiksha Sambal Yojana. Now, she has secured admission to the Government Medical College in Sheopur, making her dream of becoming a doctor a reality.
Monali says, “Studying in Kota was like a dream come true for me. We found an environment here that was even better than at home. The care of the teachers and management taught me why success is achieved – because problems are solved here and an environment of equality is provided. Now, by becoming a doctor, I want to not only serve society but also help children who lack resources.”
Dr. Naveen Maheshwari, Trustee of the LN Maheshwari Parmarth Trust, said, “Every child has the right to dream and fulfill their dreams. The objective of the Shiksha Sambal Yojana is to enable even meritorious but economically disadvantaged students studying in government schools in rural and small towns to become doctors, engineers, and other professionals. Our resolve is to ensure that lack of resources does not hold back any talent.”
The success of Monali, daughter of a farmer, is proof that no dream remains unfulfilled when given the right guidance and opportunities. Her admission to Sheopur Medical College is a matter of pride not only for her family but for the entire region. This achievement also sends a message to other students that even difficult circumstances cannot hinder success.
Monali Amrute’s achievement demonstrates the significance of the Shiksha Sambal Yojana. It proves that Kota is not only a center of education but is also becoming a medium for social change. The success of talents like Monali sends the message that with opportunity and support, any dream can become a reality.
