Move to Ensure Free and Fair NEET-UG Exam

After the paper leak and other irregularities came to light in NEET UG 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has reportedly made a big change.

National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts NEET UG examination, is likely to have taken the decision to conduct the NEET UG 2025 examination in the government educational institutions to check paper leak as alleged paper leak and other irregularities were reported in the NEET UG 2024 Examination.

NTA wants to ensure free and fair NEET UG Examination for which it has reportedly taken this decision.

NTA to Ensure Accountability

Till now NEET UG has been organized only in CBSE affiliated schools. City coordinators have also been made from private schools, but this time big changes are being seen.

According to the media reports, the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya could be made the NEET UG City Coordinator instead of the head of a private school.

KV was given priority because it is under the Central Government and in case of any kind of irregularity, the accountability of the government personnel can be fixed.

Reportedly, at the same time, a letter has been sent to the state government by the NTA Director General. In compliance with this, preparations are being made to make government educational institutions in the state as examination centres.
