GATE 2016 will be jointly administered by the IISc and seven IIT’s namely Mumbai, Delhi, Kanpur, Roorkee, Madras, Kharagpur, Guwahati.
One change that has been introduced this year is that now an online virtual calculator will be provided to all examinees during the examination, whereas earlier students used to get their own calculators.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have passed B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharma and M.Sc/M.A./MCA and Int M.E./M.Tech or dual degree and Int M.E./M.Tech (Post B.Sc) and professional society examinations (equivalent to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) with good marks from any recognized university.
