PM Modi Made Announcement During his Speech on Independence Day
There is exciting news for the NEET UG aspirants in the country as Government of India will create 75000 new medical seats in the country in the next 5 years-time. This announcement was made by Prime Minister, India, Narendra Modi during his speech on Independence Day at Red Fort, New Delhi.
He said that the students of the country interested in becoming doctors will not have to go abroad for pursuing MBBS as 75k medical seats will be created in the country.
PM Modi expressed his desire to develop the country’s education system. He said that 25 thousand children go abroad every year only to study medicine which needs to be stopped. They have to go to such countries, whose names even surprise me.
Most of them are children from middle class families, who have to spend lakhs and crores of rupees for medical studies. This was the reason that in the last ten years we have increased the medical seats to about one lakh. He said that we need to stop the migration of students abroad.
The PM expressed his intention to develop the education system of the country in such a way, so that the youth of the country do not have to go abroad for studies and they can get education like foreign institutions in the country itself. The education system is being strengthened.
The Prime Minister expressed his concern about the migration of youth to the country and said that I do not want the youth of the country to be forced to go abroad for studies. After the new National Education Policy came, we are rapidly engaged in this direction. The education system is being strengthened afresh.
Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the reconstruction of Bihar’s Nalanda University and said that in the field of education, we will have to awaken the centuries-old Nalanda spirit once again, we will have to live it. With faith, we will have to work to give new consciousness to the knowledge traditions of the world.
He also emphasized on education in mother tongue and told the states that language should not come in the way of the country’s talents. The power of mother tongue gives the son of even the poorest mother of the country the power to fulfill his dream.
He also emphasized on skill development and said that the way the world is changing today and the importance of skill has increased a lot. We want to give new strength to skill.
