JEE Advanced 2018-Guideline for PWD Category Students

JEE Main 2018 Application has been started from 1st December. JEE Main is the popular engineering entrance exam in India. It is conducted by CBSE for admission to B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses. On the basis of JEE Main, candidates are admitted to NITs and other engineering institutions. JEE Main is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced which offers admission to IITs & ISM.  This year JEE Advanced will be conducted online by IIT Kanpur on May 20, 2018.

2 lakhs 24 thousand students selected through JEE Mains, would be eligible for JEE Advanced. This includes 11,200 students from PWD category from which 5656 will be of general category, 3024-OBC category, 1680-SC and 840 for ST category.

Candidates with blindness, dyslexia and disability in hands can give the exam with the help of a scribe and also they will get 1 hour extra in both the papers of JEE Advanced. These candidates will have to report one day prior to the exam i.e. on May 19, 2018, and will have to select a scribe from the panel who will help them for the exam. The scribe will be a student of class 11th or below. Candidates are not allowed to get the scribe of their own choice.

CBSE released JEE Main Mock test for Computer Based Exam. This mock test will provide guidance to the JEE Aspirants with a brief amount of idea regarding How will be the JEE Main online mode examination. By the help of JEE Main 2018 Mock test candidates will able to find out the exam pattern, difficulty level and more about the JEE Main 2018.
