The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) on Tuesday afternoon released the rules for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of All India Quota Counseling.
Eligible and ineligible candidates have also been defined in this. Parijat Mishra, Career Counseling Expert, ALLEN Career Institute, said that the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced a special stray vacancy round for admission to the seats still vacant in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses through the ranks of NEET UG-2024.
It has also been defined in the notice that which candidates are eligible to participate in this counseling and which candidates are not eligible for this counseling.
Parijat Mishra said that in the guidelines of the special stray vacancy round, no candidate will be able to get a new registration done in it, that is, candidates who have not yet registered in any round of counseling conducted earlier in the MCC All India Quota Counseling, will not be able to participate in this special stray vacancy round.
Only those candidates who had registered in the first, second, third and stray vacancy rounds conducted earlier in the MCC All India Quota Counseling are eligible for this special stray vacancy round counseling.
The Medical Counseling Committee will also release the number of available vacant seats for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses by late night and all the candidates who are allotted seats will have to submit physical report and join their allotted college within the time limit issued earlier.
Parijat Mishra said that to participate in the special stray vacancy round, the candidate will also have to submit an undertaking.
In which the candidates will declare that they are participating in the Special Stray Vacancy Round and they have not yet been allotted any seat in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses from All India and State Quota Counseling.
– If the candidate is allotted any seat in the Special Stray Vacancy Round, he will join the allotted college immediately. If they do not do so, their security deposit will also be forfeited and they will also lose eligibility for NEET UG 2025.
– The registered candidate should not have any seat allotted or joined in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
– Fresh choice filling will be done in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
– The choice submitted by the candidate in the previous counseling round will be considered null and void. – Candidates will have to make a security deposit of Rs. 50,000 for selection of government seats in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses, while for selection of deemed university seats, this security deposit will be Rs. 3 lakh.
– The security deposit will be refundable only when the candidate joins his allotted college. Otherwise, the security deposit will be forfeited.
– The data of those candidates who have got any seat in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses in the special stray vacancy round will also be shared by SCC with the State Counseling Authority.
– Candidates who have been allotted any seat from All India Quota will not be included in the State Counseling.
