Inspiring Success Journey of Yagnesh Desai who Secured top 50 in NEET 2025
To top a tough and competitive exam like NEET is the dream of every medical aspirant. This dream has been realised by Yagnesh Desai, who has made ALLEN Career Institute and his family proud by securing a place in the top 50 rank in NEET 2025 exam.
In this blog, we will talk in detail about Yagnesh’s NEET preparation strategy, struggle, discipline and his experiences which can become a source of inspiration for every NEET aspirant.
Yagnesh laid his foundation with ALLEN Career Institute from class 9th. Seeing the desire to make a career in medicine, he joined the ‘Ambition Medical’ foundation course in class 9th itself. This early start gave him a strong base and when he started preparing for the main exams in 11th and 12th, he already understood most of the topics.
Yagnesh says, “The topics studied in 9th-10th were just revision in 11th-12th. This saved time and gave time to practice in depth.”
Yagnesh received 60% scholarship by taking Allen’s Talentex exam. Apart from this, he said that Allen’s faculty and mentorship support was an important key to his success.
“ALLEN faculties don’t just teach, they stand by me completely, as if they are part of the family. Whenever I had any doubt, I would get immediate help. Whenever I got low marks or my rank dropped, my mother would take me to the mentor and the conversation would restore my confidence.”
According to Yagnesh, Biology was his favourite subject, so he devoted more time to it. He was strong in Physics, so giving more time to weaker sections like Inorganic Chemistry was part of his strategy.
He clearly said, “Practicing repeatedly on the available quality material was more beneficial than searching for additional material.”
Allen’s regular test series made preparation for a pan India exam like NEET easy. Tests every 15 days and full syllabus major test at the end created an atmosphere similar to the real exam.
“Every test felt like giving NEET. This eliminated fear and increased confidence.”
Yagnesh found the NEET 2025 paper a bit lengthy, especially the Biology section took more time. Despite this, with Allen’s test practice, he adopted a strategy of identifying difficult questions and leaving them, which helped in improving time management.
Yagnesh never used social media. He did not even have a personal mobile. He used Allen Digital App and WhatsApp only for asking doubts and test analysis. He says:
“I did not want to waste time. I did not want to pay attention to any unnecessary thing. This thought was always in my mind.”
Whenever Yagnesh got mentally tired or frustrated, he would talk to his mother or go for a walk. He would re-center himself by taking a 15-20 minute break. He believes that:
“Self-discipline and understanding of time are the biggest strengths.”
Yagnesh believes that hesitation is harmful. Students should talk to their parents or mentors in every situation. Parents should give trust and emotional support to their children.
“I used to talk openly to my father and mother. If you do not speak, then you will get upset inside yourself.”
Yagnesh Desai’s journey shows that with dedication, discipline and a right guiding institute, any student can succeed in a difficult exam like NEET. His four-year journey with Allen Career Institute is a model for every NEET aspirant.
