JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted in over 300 cities and over 600 exam centres across the country and abroad. This exam will be even more accessible than before for candidates from several states, including Rajasthan, as exam centres have been set up in 13 different cities within the state. These include Kota, Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Sikar, Sriganganagar, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Dausa, and Hanumangarh.
In line with the National Education Policy, the NTA has placed special emphasis on enhancing linguistic diversity in this exam. To this end, JEE-Main 2026 is being conducted in 13 languages. These languages include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This step is extremely helpful for candidates who can achieve better results by taking the exam in their mother tongue or a familiar language.
The NTA has also released a list of languages available at exam centres so that candidates can choose their exam centre based on their preference.
English and Hindi—both languages will be available at every exam centre in India.
This extensive linguistic arrangement is intended to provide a seamless exam experience to candidates coming from different parts of the country. This will significantly benefit students who have studied in a regional language and understand technical terminology more effectively in their mother tongue.
Only three days are left for the online application process for JEE-Main 2026. Candidates should ensure that they upload all required documents and thoroughly check the information provided in their application before the deadline. Any errors in the application form could hinder the examination process.
The NTA has also stated that the last date for payment of application fees is November 27th, but the deadline for submission of fees has been extended to 11:50 pm. Candidates whose payment is not successful for any reason can retry within the stipulated time.
The exam city allocation will be released later. Candidates typically receive confirmation of the city and centre through their admit card a few weeks before the exam date. Therefore, candidates should regularly check the website for updates.

Students preparing for the exam should ensure that when selecting language options, they choose a language in which they understand subjects like science and mathematics well. Technical understanding plays a crucial role in JEE-Main questions, so fluency in the language directly impacts performance.
