Why JEE Advanced is the Most Difficult Exam?
How many questions of how many marks are asked in JEE Advanced exam is never told in advance. Neither is the marking scheme of the paper determined and informed in advance. In the JEE Advanced exam, students get the number of questions and marking scheme written in the instructions given half an hour before the paper in the exam hall.
In this, the agility of the students is tested by asking questions on different patterns like matching list type, integer type, single correct, multiple correct comprehension paragraph based. In this exam, the chances of repetition of questions from previous years’ question papers are negligible.
Also, this exam is conducted in two shifts of 3 hours each in a day. For the last 4 years, in JEE Advanced, both Paper-1 and Paper-2 were of 180 marks and the entire paper was of 360 marks, in which Physics, Chemistry and Maths papers were of 120 marks.
