In the Last Few Years, there has been an Increase of Lakhs of Students Applying
Do you know, there are more than 3 thousand engineering institutes in the country today and more than 200 of them are private, government, central government universities.
Every year lakhs of students in the country are doing engineering from some engineering institute or the other.
In the last few years, the number of students appearing in engineering entrance exams is increasing in lakhs. Such a large number of students appearing in engineering entrance exams after taking Maths and Science shows the increasing trend towards it.
According to the data, 12 lakh 37 thousand students applied in the year 2019, 11 lakh 74 thousand in the year 2020, 10 lakh 48 thousand in the year 2021, 10 lakh 26 thousand in the year 2022, 11 lakh 62 thousand in the year 2023 and 14 lakh 76 thousand in the year 2023.
The reason for the increasing craze of students in engineering is not only the students getting good jobs in the engineering sector, but also the opening of good career prospects after becoming engineers in various fields.
After doing engineering, students get placed in various sectors of the economy like engineering and technology, IT software, startups, finance, data analytics, consulting, research and development, services, education, FMCG and PSUs on good packages.
After passing 12th, a large number of students are faced with the question of choosing good engineering institutes, due to which parents and students appear confused. Before selecting any engineering institute, it is important to look at its academic placement fees, faculty, facilities, alumni, food, locality, college ranking, technical curriculum and exposure.
Today, the best institutes of the country give utmost emphasis on all these points for the all-round development of the students. Generally, the world’s top brands like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, IBM select students from the country’s top engineering institutes in packages of 15 to 20, 30 to 35, 40 to 50 lakhs and more than 1 crore.
Because they easily get the most qualified students in these institutes. Nowadays, many competitions are organized in most engineering institutes of the country to develop and explore the analytical, logical aptitude of the students, which increases the ability of the students to face any competition and challenge in the future.
