International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is celebrated every year on 15 February as a part of the global collaborative campaign to raise public awareness about childhood cancer and support the children/adolescents who have cancer and the survivors and their families.
The ICCD also intends to ensure the best benefits of cancer treatment, care, and support to cancer suffering children and adolescents with the help of public awareness.
ICCD also stresses the need for an increased appreciation and deeper understanding of the challenges children and adolescents face with cancer, the survivors, and families. ICCD also asserts the commitment for equal access to treatment and care for all children with cancer everywhere.
ICCD aims to provide the right to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health and facilities for the treatment of illness and rehabilitation of health of the sufferer children/adolescents.
ALLEN Career Institute has also taken a step towards cancer care. The institute and its Directors have generously donated Rs 10.80 Crores to construct the Bharat Vikas Parishad Ayurvigyan College and Cancer Treatment Hospital to aid the common people and cancer sufferers.
