About 2 thousand students are also facing the problem of duplicate application ID. Among these, there are hundreds of students who are confident of qualifying for JEE-Advanced on the basis of Session-2, but they are not being permitted by IIT Madras to register on the JEE-Advanced website, because NTA has written ‘Duplicate’ in their result.
Many such students are coming forward who had applied for JEE-Main Session-1 and Session-2 with different registration numbers. Later, NTA withheld the results of these students in the JEE-Main 2024 Session 2 (Paper 1) results and cited the reason as duplicate registration.
