The Last Date to Apply for the Coveted Examination, JEE Advanced 2024 is May 7

The Application for the JEE Advanced 2024 has commenced from today, April 7. The registration link was activated at 5 pm today. Eligible and interested aspirants can register for the JEE Advanced by visiting the registration link on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is conducting the JEE Advanced 2024. JEE Advanced registrations have begun after the recent announcement of the JEE Main 2024 results on April 24.

JEE Advanced 2024 Examination Eligibility

IIT-JEE examination is organized in two phases whereby JEE Main is a screening examination for JEE Advanced while JEE Advanced is an entrance examination for admission into IITs of the country. The top 2.50 lakh successful aspirants of JEE Main 2024 Examination for Paper 1 are declared eligible to take JEE-Advanced 2024 Examination.

The eligible aspirants must have been born on or after October 1, 1999 while five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates which means that these aspirants must have been born on or after October 1, 1994. The last date to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 is May 7, 2024.

Fee Payment

The fees for JEE-Advanced 2024 can be paid only in online mode. As far as the registration fees is considered for Indian aspirants, eligible female aspirants of SC, ST and PwD category candidates will have to pay ₹1600/- while all the other aspirants will have to pay ₹3200/-. The last date for payment of fees for eligible aspirants is May 10, 2024.

Eligible aspirants should follow the following steps for registration-

1. Go to the homepage of the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in
2. Click on the JEE-Advanced 2024 Registration link.
3. A new page will open where candidates can register online.
4. Aspirants can login to the account.
5. Aspirants must fill in the application form.
6. Aspirants must pay the application fees and submit.
7. Download the page and take out a print-out for future reference.
