JEE-Advanced 2024 Examination Tomorrow, Things to Remember

Aspirants will have to reach the Examination Center at 7 am, Will get a Break of Two Hours During the Day

JEE-Advanced, one of the toughest entrance examinations in the country, is going to be organized on Sunday, May 26 in 222 cities of the country and 3 cities abroad. This examination, being conducted by IIT Madras, will be held in two shifts between 9 am to 12 am and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

There will be two examination centers for JEE-Advanced Examination 2024 in Kota. This examination will be conducted on viable solutions and digital desk. Most of the girl students will appear in the examination at these two centers in Kota. The result of the examination will be released on June 9.

Students have been asked to report to the examination center at 7 am in the morning for the first paper. Students will be allotted computers and examination desk for Paper-1 at 8.30. 25 minutes before the start of the examination, students will be able to login on their computers with their JEE-Advanced roll no. and date of birth and read the instructions.

The exam pattern and marking scheme of the JEE-Advanced 2024 exam is never fixed in advance. In such a situation, the instructions given to the students should be read carefully.

JEE-Advanced 2024 Paper-1 will end at 12 noon. After this, students will be given 2.30 hour time between Paper-1 and Paper-2. But in reality it is only a time interval of two hours, because at 2 o’clock students will be given desks and computers for Paper-2. In such a situation, students are advised to make full use of the given time interval.

If the examination center and their residence or place of stay are at a distance, then they should stay near the examination center and make necessary arrangements. If the examination center and residence are close, then students should reach their residence and reach the examination center by maximum 1.45 pm. At the end of Paper-1, students should avoid unnecessary paper discussion. Taking special care of the heat, only light snacks should be taken, students should try to keep their biological clock active from 8 am to 5.30 pm.

Things to Remember on Exam Day

  • Before going for the exam, often students make small mistakes in haste so this is the time to avoid them.
  • Students are not required to carry any extra photo.
  • Students should carry original ID proof like Aadhar Card, School ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport and PAN Card along with the admit card.
  • Students should carry a transparent water drinking bottle with them.
  • Students will be given a scramble pad in each paper for rough work on which they will have to write the advance application number and their own name. The student can take the scramble pad with him after the completion of the examination. Extra scramble pad will not be provided.
  • No electronic device of any kind will be allowed during the examination. Also, it has been advised not to wear rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, amulets etc.
  • It has been advised not to wear clothes with big buttons. Students should wear slippers and sandals instead of shoes. Wearing a simple watch is allowed.
