EWS Certificate Made After April 1 Only Will be Valid
Registrations for JEE-Advanced 2024, the country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam, are going to start from today, April 27, 5 pm. This examination is being conducted by IIT Madras this year. The last date of application is 7th May.
The JEE Advanced 2024 examination will be conducted in two shifts on May 26 in more than 300 examination cities of the country. The application process for the exam will start on April 27 at 5 pm. For JEE Advanced 2024 application, only the top 2.50 lakh students selected on the basis of JEE-Main can apply with their JEE-Main application number and created password.
During application, students will have to select the examination center and upload 10th-12th marksheet and category certificate. Especially OBC and EWS students will have to give the certificate made after April 1, 2024 only. In case the certificate is not available after April 1,
The student can apply through the declaration given in the Information Bulletin, which will give time to the aspirant to provide the category related documents till the seat allotment of JoSAA Counseling. During application, the student can choose the examination center in any city of the country. These examination centers will have no relation with the examination centres selected in JEE-Main examination.
Fee Payment
After uploading the documents, the student will have to pay the examination fee. This examination fee has been kept at Rs 3200 for general, OBC and EWS category boys, Rs 1600 for SC-ST and boys and all girl students.
In the application of JEE-Advanced, the basic information of the students like name of the student, parents, category, gender, date of birth, photo, signature, information of class 10 and 12 are taken from the application of JEE Main itself. Students cannot even make changes in these.
If a student has applied for a wrong category in JEE-Main and does not have the category related documents, then he can apply by going to the option given in the general category, during the application for Advanced.
