JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Tomorrow – Important Instructions for the Exam Day

JEE Advanced 2025 Examination will be held Tomorrow, 18 May

JEE Advanced, considered to be one of the most prestigious and challenging exams in the country, will be held this time on Sunday, 18 May. This exam is being conducted by IIT Kanpur and will be conducted in 222 cities of India as well as three international locations.

This exam will be conducted in two shifts—from 9 am to 12 noon and then from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The result of the exam will be declared on 2 June. Students appearing for the exam will have to report to the centre by 7 am for the first shift. They will be allotted their seats and computers by 8:30 am so students should try to reach the examination centre by 7.45 am.

Since it will be a computer based test so 25 minutes before the start of the exam, candidates will be able to login through their roll number and date of birth and read the instructions related to the exam. The most special thing about JEE Advanced is that its pattern and marking scheme are not predetermined, so it is necessary to read each instruction carefully.

Exam Schedule and Necessary Precautions:

The first paper will end at 12 noon, after which students will get about two hours of rest for Paper-2. Although technically this interval is 2.30 hours, but students have to sit at the examination desk again by 2 pm. It is advisable to use this time properly.

If the examination centre is far from your residence, then make arrangements for accommodation nearby in advance. Students living nearby should reach the centre by at least 1:45 pm.

After the exam, do not get involved in the discussion of the paper unnecessarily, and in view of the heat, eat light food. To keep the body agile throughout the day, it is important to keep yourself active from 8 am to 5:30 pm.

Students may take power nap for 15-20 minutes in the break between the Paper 1 and Paper 2.
