JEE Advanced 2025 Result will be Declared on 2 June
Now that the JEE Mains 2025 and JEE Advanced 2025 exams are over and the question paper has also been released, it is natural that students have many questions in their mind.
Especially about what rank their expected marks can lead to and how much can be expected to get admission in IIT.
This year’s paper was of a total of 360 marks, in which there were two papers – each of 180 marks.
If compared to the last few years, in terms of difficulty, this time the paper was:
| Estimated Rank | Estimated Marks (Range) |
| Top 50 | 295 – 300 |
| Top 100 | 282 – 286 |
| Top 500 | 237 – 242 |
| Top 1000 | 215 – 219 |
| Top 1500 | 198 – 203 |
| Top 2000 | 186 – 191 |
| Top 2500 | 177 – 181 |
| Top 3000 | 170 – 174 |
| Top 3500 | 162 – 167 |
| Top 4000 | 158 – 162 |
| Top 5000 | 143 – 148 |
| Top 6000 | 141 – 146 |
| Top 7000 | 135 – 140 |
| Top 8000 | 128 – 134 |
| Top 9000 | 124 – 128 |
| Top 10000 | 121 – 125 |
| TOP 11000 | 118 – 121 |
| TOP 12000 | 114 – 118 |
| TOP 13000 | 110 – 114 |
| TOP 14000 | 107 – 111 |
| TOP 15000 | 105 – 107 |
| TOP 16000 | 100 – 102 |
| TOP 17000 | 97 – 99 |
| TOP 18000 | 95 – 97 |
| TOP 20000 | 93 – 95 |
As the ranks increase, even a difference of 2–3 marks in marks can result in a difference of 400–500 marks in the rank. Hence this data is estimate based and not final.
If you are from the General category and your marks are above 102, then there is a possibility of getting some branch in IIT – especially up to 16,000–17,000 rank. Considering the paper pattern of 2022 and 2024, the level of 2025 was somewhat similar to 2023, but a little tougher.
Now that the exam is over, the next step is JoSAA counseling. This process starts right after the JEE Advanced result. So prepare a list of your preferred branch and college from now on. We will stay connected with you and will keep helping you in the admission process as well.
