JEE-Advanced exam was conducted in two shifts on Sunday. The first shift exam was held from 9 am to 12 noon. ALLEN Career Institute Director Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari said that the paper of this exam was easy.

The second shift exam was held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. This paper was lengthy. Chemistry was completely calculative in the paper. The difficulty level of Physics and Maths was slightly better. The most important change in this year’s change compared to last year was the number of questions.

Physics:

All topics were covered in the Physics paper. If we talk about the class, more questions were asked from the syllabus of class 12th.

Due to numericals in the second paper, students found the paper tough. There was no question from Fluid Mechanics, Newton’s Law and Current Electricity. One question was asked from each of the other topics.

Chemistry:

The paper was of easy to moderate level. In the chemistry paper, the number of questions from physical chemistry and organic chemistry was slightly more. While the number of questions from inorganic chemistry was less. In inorganic chemistry, questions were asked from F block for the first time.

In physical chemistry, one question each was asked from exclusive topics of G Advanced such as solid state, real gas and surface chemistry. The organic chemistry paper was moderate and more reaction based questions were asked.

Maths:

The first paper of Maths was moderate while the second paper was tough. In the second paper, difficult questions were asked from matrices, conic section, limits continuity and differentiability.
