Despite Qualifying for JEE-Main, Students unable to Register for JEE-Advanced 2025

JEE Advanced 2025-Registrations of Students with gap year between class 10 and class 12 stopped

JEE Advanced 2025 aspirants are facing a new problem in the application for JEE-Advanced 2025 exam.

Such students, who have passed the class 10 examination in the year 2021 and then given a gap between 11 and 12 and passed the class 12 examination in 2024, are being prevented from applying for the JEE Advanced 2025 examination.

During application by such aspirants, IIT Kanpur is considering their eligibility from the year of passing the class 10. In such a situation, according to IIT Kanpur, these students have completed their eligibility for IIT in the year 2024.

Remedy for the issue

The career counselling expert of ALLEN Career Institute informed that as per the rules, two consecutive attempts of JEE-Advanced examination are given for the first time with the class 12 examination and after the class 12 examination.

Such students should inform IIT Kanpur about their problem and inform by sending the mark sheets of all three 10th, 11th and 12th on the given e-mail ID, because the eligibility for admission in IIT is counted from the year in which the 12 examination is given for the first time.

In this case, after a gap of one year from the passing year of class 10, the student is considered as class 12 pass and they are not allowed to login.

Along with this, the login of those students who had applied for the exam along with class 11 and did not appear for JEE exam was also blocked.
