JEE Advanced 2025: Strategy for the Last 10 Days

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam will be held on 18 May

JEE Advanced is considered one of the toughest exams in the country, and its preparation lasts not months but years. But as important as long-term study is, so important is the strategy for the last 10 days. Your approach changes in these last days: now revision, mindset and exam strategy matter more.

In this blog, we will learn how to use these 10 days to perform best on the exam day.

1. Leave new topics now

If you have not studied a topic yet or do not have a strong grip on it, then there is no need to touch it now. Working on new topics at the last minute can increase confusion and reduce confidence.

2. Revise Smartly: Use Notes and Formula Sheets

Now is not the time to immerse yourself in heavy books. Use your short notes, formula sheets and flow charts. Do brief revision of 1–2 subjects every day. Practice the questions you have made mistakes on separately. Quality is important in revision, not quantity.

3. Mock Test: Practice Time Management

A full-length test should be taken every 2–3 days, in an environment exactly like the exam. This will not only improve time management, but will also develop the habit of performing under mental pressure. After the mock test, analyse where did it take more time, where did you make mistakes. Improve on the same pattern next time

4. Maintain mental peace

Stress has a direct impact on performance. It is important to maintain mental stability during these days. Meditate for 15–20 minutes daily and get enough sleep (6–7 hours). Stay away from self-doubt and say positive affirmations: “I can do it”, “I am ready.”

5. Take full care of health

The risk of falling ill cannot be taken at all at this time. Therefore, Eat light, balanced food, Drink plenty of water and avoid junk food and outside food

6. Keep the exam strategy ready

What approach to take on the day of the exam should be decided in advance. Which section to solve first? In how much time to complete one section? and which questions to leave, which to spend time on? Make a strategy according to your strength and practice it.

7. Do only light revisions on the last day

Avoid heavy study a day before the exam. On this day, just look at short notes, take rest and keep your mind fresh. The calmer your mind is, the better your performance will be.

The last 10 days are not for preparing for the exam, but for improving your preparation. If you maintain the right mindset, strategy and self-control during this period, the chances of success increase manifold

Have faith – the hard work you put in will pay off. Best Wishes for the JEE Advanced 2025 examination.
