JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Pattern
The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted in two compulsory papers:
Paper 1: 9 AM to 12 PM
Paper 2: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
The duration of both papers will be three hours each. It is mandatory for candidates to appear for both papers.

Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who have passed the JEE Main 2026 exam and secured a rank in the top 2.5 lakh can apply for JEE Advanced 2026. Furthermore:
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.
A candidate can appear for the JEE Advanced exam a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

Number of IIT Seats

According to last year’s data, approximately 18,160 seats are offered for admission through JEE Advanced. This includes all IITs across the country.

The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 will be conducted for candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch. course.

AAT Exam: June 4, 2026
AAT Result: June 7, 2026
