Many Students Got Exam Centre Outside the State
The Admit Cards for JEE-Advanced 2024, the country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam, have been released. Necessary guidelines have also been issued along with these admit cards issued by the exam organizer IIT Madras. Initially, admit cards were sent to the students through email, later they were released through a link on the website.
The JEE-Advanced exam will be held on 26 May in 222 exam cities of the country from 9 am to 12 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

This year some changes have been made in the process of getting the admit card. Till last year, the admit card of JEE-Advanced was downloaded with the application ID of JEE Advanced and date of birth.
This year, a change has been made in this and the admit-card is being downloaded from the date of birth along with the application number of JEE Main. Along with this, after the release of the admit card, many students have come forward who have not been allotted examination centers at the desired places.

During the application of JEE-Advanced, eight choices were filled. Many students have been allotted examination centers outside these eight choices. Many students are coming forward in Kota who have been given examination centers up to Ghaziabad. These students had filled all the examination centers of Rajasthan.

This year, a 2-page admit card has been given. The admit card and guidelines of the student are given on the first page. The students have to get their own and their guardian’s signature on the declaration given along with the guidelines.
This declaration form and admit card will have to be submitted to the examiner after the start of JEE Advanced Paper 2. Different reporting times have not been given in the admit cards this year. All the students have been asked to report to the examination center at 7 am for Paper-1.
The admit cards issued to the students have been asked to be used as curfew-pass in case of a Covid-like situation or any other unforeseen circumstance so that the students can reach to appear in the examination without any hindrance.
