Why do people leave IIT?
Experts maintain that the major reason for students not taking admission in IIT, even after getting top ranks, can be credited to the availability of the best research institutes as per their interest and the option of MS in the world’s top universities.
The country’s best institute IISC, in which admission is given through JEE-Advanced, every year many topper students take admission in this institute according to their interest in Physics, Chemistry, Research in Maths and the newly started Mathematics and Computing branch.
In the past several years also, many students from the initial top-500 rank have taken admission in the IISC institute. In this institute, along with CS, students also get a chance to study complete research in Mathematics and Computing branch, that is why admission in this branch closes within the top 1000 rank of JEE Advanced.
Apart from this, many of these topper students also take admission in world-renowned institutes like MIT for doing global studies.
