The examination dates for the country’s most prominent engineering entrance exam, JEE Main, have been announced. The third session of JEE Main will be conducted between July 20 and 25, and the fourth session will be held from July 27 till August 2. For the fourth and final session, the registration will end today at 5 PM while application fee can be paid till 9 PM.
More than ten lacs candidates are expected to sit in the exam this year. Whereas more than 30,000 new applications have been made for the fourth session, these students had not applied for the third session.
Since the third session will be held from July 20 to 25, the admit cards are expected to be issued in a day or two. However, till now, no information has been published by NTA regarding the same. Considering the circumstances of Covid-19, most of the students are looking forward to getting the exam city according to their choice.
The number of cities has also been increased from 232 to 334 to ensure Covid-19 safety procedures. The number of examination centres in every shift will also be increased from 660 to 828. All related latest COVID-19 guidelines and protocols will be followed at all examination centers.
BITS Pilani entrance exam was to be conducted entirely online between August 3 and 6. The exam dates have been revised, and now the exam will be conducted from August 3 to 9. This will benefit the students appearing for the fourth session of JEE-Main until August 2, as they will now appear in the BITS examination by booking their slots from July 17 to 21.
