JEE Main 2021 Exam Day Guidelines & Covid Advisory.

JEE Main 2021 exam to commence from 23 February; students need to present Covid Self Declaration at the examination center

The country’s most reputed engineering entrance exam JEE Main is going to be held from 23 February. Examination centers are set up in 221 cities across the country and 10 cities abroad. The exam will be conducted between 23 and 26 February.

On 23 February, the examination will be held for B.Arch, and on 24 to 26 February, the examination will be held for B.E, B.Tech. About 9 lakh 30 thousand students have registered for this examination. Special arrangements have been made for the examination in view of Covid this year. Most importantly, the students will have to submit Covid self-declaration at the exam center. In the given self-declaration, students will have to place a left-hand thumb impression and photo. Students have to sign in front of the examiner at the examination center. They need to reach the examination center on the reporting time given in the admit cards. The reporting time is different for each student. Entrance gates will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination. This year the Scribe will not be available at the examination center; students will have to take the Scribe along with them. These students will have to fill the given format related to Scribe.

The lab will be allocated from a bar code reader

Students have to bring their Aadhar card or any id proof, self-declaration filled admission card, transparent pen, photo, sanitizer, and water bottle. Students will not be allowed to bring any electronic gadget. Thick soles and big buttoned garments will also not allowed. The students will be allocated lab through thermal scanning at the entrance through the bar code reader given in the admit card and a three-layer mask, which will be mandatory for the student to use while giving the exam.

The examination center will be fully sanitized

According to the Covid Advisory issued by NTA, the examination center will be fully sanitized before and after the examination, including students’ chairs, table, computer, keyboard, mouse, etc. Students will be seated according to the Government of India’s guidelines so that they do not come in contact with each other. Students will be allowed to leave the examination center as per the social distancing guidelines only after the examination is over.
