JEE Main 2023 January Session: Objection on Answer of 30 Questions

Students Lodged Objections After Discussing with Allen Experts, Challenged 12 Questions for Bonus Marks

JEE-Main 2023 January Session (Session 1) question paper, answer key and recorded response have been released by NTA. Students have matched their recorded response and answer key. ALLEN Career Institute Director Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari told that “In the examinations held in 12 shifts in 6 days, 30 questions were answered in such a way that the answers of ALLEN were different and the answers issued by NTA were different”.

Apart from this, a total of 12 questions were challenged for bonus marks. The answer key has been prepared by ALLEN experts after studying the question paper. Students compared their answer keys and submitted their objections to NTA.

Maximum 18 Objections in Chemistry

Students have raised maximum objections in the chemistry paper. Students challenged the answer key by registering a total of 18 objections. Whereas bonus marks have been demanded in 6 questions. On January 24, in the morning shift, a question on Resonance and Mesomeric Effect was challenged for bonus marks. Whereas in the evening shift, an objection has been lodged on the question of co-ordination compound. In this question,

ALLEN’s answer key and NTA’s answer key are different. Similarly, on January 25, in the morning shift, a demand for bonus marks has been made for one question each on solid state and liquid solution. Objection has been lodged in one question each of Ionic Equilibrium, Thermochemistry and Chemical Kinetics in the evening shift. Then on January 29, an objection has been lodged in the question of Chemical Kinetics in the morning shift and Periodic Table in the evening shift. On the other hand, on January 30, an objection was lodged in Mole concepts in the morning shift, whereas in the evening shift, a demand for bonus marks has been made in the question of ‘Coordination Chemistry<.

After this, on January 31, in the evening shift, an objection has been lodged regarding the question of therapeutic action of different classes of drugs and ionisation enthalpy.  On the other hand, on February 1, in the morning shift, bonus marks have been demanded for a question on hydrocarbons. While in the evening shift, objections have been lodged in the question of Biomolecules, Chemical Equilibrium, Metallurgy and bonus marks have been demanded in one question of Electrochemistry.

Objection on 9 Questions in Mathematics

Students have raised objections on 9 questions in Mathematics paper. Bonus marks have been demanded for a question on limit topic in the evening shift on January 25, and also in a question of probability in the morning shift, on January 29. Similarly, in the evening shift, objection has been raised on a question of logical reasoning and also bonus marks have been demanded for it. Then on January 30, an objection has been lodged in one question of Inverse Trigonometry Function in the evening shift and one question of Mathematical Reasoning in the morning shift on January 31. While on February 1, in the evening shift, an objection has been lodged in the demand for bonus marks in Complex Numbers, Vectors and 3D Coordinate Geometry and a question of Definite Integration.

Only Three Objections in Physics

Students have lodged objections in only three questions in Physics paper.  In which objections have been lodged in the questions of Current Electricity and Practical Physics in the morning shift on January 30.  Similarly, on February 1, in the evening shift, students have lodged an objection to a question on work energy power.
