Now students can match the recorded responses and answer keys as per the old pattern of NTA. Along with this, the last date for challenging the provisional answer key has been extended to 9th February.

In this regard, a notification was issued by NTA to challenge the first provisional answer key. After this, the answer key, recorded responses and question papers were released again at around 2 am on late Wednesday (7 February) night due to which the students got some relief.

Aspirants Were Earlier Miffed

It is noteworthy that NTA had changed the pattern of matching of answer key and recorded response on 6 February. As per which, the provisional answer key released by NTA was not shown in the option ID, whereas in the recorded response, the answers of the students were shown in the option ID.

In the Provisional Answer Key, multiple correct questions are shown in the order of 1, 2, 3, 4, whereas in the Recorded Response, the answers were shown in the Option ID, whose matching was done with the last two digits of the Option ID by stacking in the order of 1, 2, 3, 4.

However, no explanation was given on the website in this regard. In such a situation, the confusion among the students regarding the released answer key had increased further
