Aspirants of JEE Main 2024 January Session can check the Provisional Answer Key at jeemain.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) a short while ago released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main January) 2024 Session 1 provisional answer key. Along with the provisional answer key, NTA has also released the recorded response sheet of the aspirants and question paper for paper 1 and paper 2.

The JEE (Main) – 2024 January Session was conducted throughout the Country and abroad on 24, 27, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer keys. The JEE Main answer key 2024 challenge fee is Rs.200 per question which will be refunded if the objection is found to be correct.

Candidates can submit their challenges at jeemain.nta.nic.in till 11:50 PM of 9th February. Candidates must note that no challenges will be accepted against the JEE Main 2024 final answer keys. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 at different Centres located in 321 cities around the world including 22 cities outside India. Over 12.3 lakh aspirants were registered for the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Examination.
Know How to Download Provisional JEE Main Answer Key 2024?
- Visit the official website- jeemain.nta.ac.in
- Click on JEE Main 2024 Answer Key.
- Enter the application number, date of birth and other asked details
- Click on “Submit”
- Candidates will be able to access the JEE Main question paper, answer key and response sheet.
- Take a print out of thr question paper, answer key and response sheet for future reference.
Candidates, who are not satisfied with the Answer Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per question challenged as on non-refundable processing fee. The details for Answer Key Challenge are given below:
The payment for the processing fee may be made through, Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking till 08 February 2024 (up to 11:50 PM). No challenge will entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The fee towards the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode.
If challenges made by the candidate are found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 result will be declared on 12 February. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The Key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key
- Please go to the website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/
- Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
- Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth enter the Security PIN as displayed and Submit.
- Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
- You will see the Question IDs in the below sequential order for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024)
Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech

30+30+30 Questions Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry
Paper 2A: B.Arch.
(If applied)
30+50 Questions Mathematics/Aptitude Test

- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key by NTA.
- If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
- You may upload supporting documents for which you can select ‘Choose File and Upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file).
- After clicking your desired option, for Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Mathematics / Aptitude Test for Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Mathematics / Aptitude Test / Planning for Paper 2B (B.Planning), scroll down and ‘Save you claim’ and move on to the next screen.
- You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
- Click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’.
- Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee @ ₹ 200/-for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.
