JEE Main 2025-Examination Schedule for April Session Released

After the conclusion of the registrations for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Examination, now National Testing agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Examination. The notification issued by NTA states that the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination will be held at different centres located in various cities throughout the country and 15 cities outside India.

Examination Schedule of Session 2

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Examination was held from 22 January to 30 January. Now the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (April Session) examination will be held in April month. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Examination from 2 April to 9 April. The Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will be held on 2 April, 3 April, 4 April, 7 April and 8 April. Except 8 April examination, the Paper 1 will be conducted in morning (First shift) and afternoon shift (second shift) while the Paper 1 examination on 8 April will be held in second shift only. The first shift examination will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift examination will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Meanwhile, the Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination will be held on 9 April only. The Paper 2 will be held only in first shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Highest Registrations for JEE Main 2025 Exam

Over 16.35 lakh students have registered themselves for JEE Main 2025 Examination which is country’s largest engineering entrance exam. This application figure for JEE-Main 2025 exam is the highest application in the history of the JEE-Main.

Earlier 13.78 lakh students had applied for JEE-Main January session and more than 2 lakh 60 thousand new unique candidates have applied only for the April session exam. In such a situation, the number of students appearing in the April exam will be more than 12 lakh.
