Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) to be held tomorrow
The much anticipated JEE Main 2025 April Session examinations are beginning tomorrow, 2 April. The JEE Main 2025 April Session Examinations will be held in 15 cities outside India along with several examination centres in the country.
Over 12 lakh aspirants will test their fate in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examinations commencing tomorrow. The number of new unique candidates who have registered themselves for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination is more than 2 lakh 60 thousand.
Overall nearly 16.35 lakh students have applied for the JEE Main 2025 Examination, which is the highest registration for any JEE Main examination in the history of JEE-Main. Meanwhile, over 13.78 lakh students had registered themselves for JEE-Main January session.
Exam Schedule
The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination like the Session 1 examination. The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Examination will be held at several examination centres in the country and 15 cities outside India.
The NTA has released the examination schedule for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination as per which the April Session Exam of JEE Main 2025 for Paper 1 (B.E.-B.Tech. paper) will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will be held on April 9.
Apart from the 8 April examination, the Paper 1 examination of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will be organized in 2 shifts every day on 2 April, 3 April, 4 April and 7 April. While the paper 1 of 8 April examination will be conducted in second shift only.
The first shift or morning shift and will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, the second shift or afternoon shift 2 will be held on 3 pm to 6 pm. The Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) will be held on only 1 day on 9 April which will take place only in 1 shift.
While the Paper 2 A (B.Arch), Paper 2 B (B.Planning) will be held in 1st shift from 9 am to 12 noon on 9 April, the Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch. & B. Planning both) will be conducted in 1st shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
NTA has already issued the admit cards for JEE Main 2025 April session exams till April 4. For the of JEE Main session 2 exams on 7 April, 8 April and 9 April exams, admit cards will be released later on the official website– jeemain.nta.nic.
While JEE Main examination is not only a gateway for admission into country’s coveted engineering institutes into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs but also a screening examination for JEE Advanced examination. The Top 2.5 lakh qualified candidates of JEE Main 2025 will appear in JEE Advanced 2025.
Dress Code
Aspirants should wear comfortable and light clothese on the examination day. Aspirants must not wear metallic elements such as rings, bracelets, and earrings. While the aspirants should not wear thick sole shoes.
Prohibited Items Guidelines:
- Aspirants should not bring any kind of electronic gadgets at the examination centre of JEE Main 2025 Session 2. These prohibited gadgets at the examination centres include mobile phones, smartwatches, tape recorders, cameras, earphone, microphones and Calculators etc are prohibited at the examination centre so aspirants should not bring them.
- The forbidden items at the examination centre include stationery items like geometry boxes, pencil boxes or papers. Although the aspirants of B.Arch. examination can bring these items for the examination.
- Aspirants must avoid taking handbags or wallet to the examination centre as they will not be allowed inside the examination centre
- No metal Items like metal bands and Kara are restricted at the examination centre.
- Except the diabetic patients, eatables are also restricted for the aspirants except the diabetes patients. Eatables like snacks, tea, coffee, chips, etc. are restricted prohibited in the examination hall.
Essential Items to Carry
Aspirants of JEE Main 2025 session 2 must carry out admit card at the centres. Aspirants must take printe copyandidates must bring a printed copy of their . Along with the admit card, they must carry an original photo identity proof.
