Om Prakash Behera Secures a Perfect Score of 300/300 in JEE Main 2025 Session 1
Om Prakash Behera of ALLEN Career Institute is among the 14 students in the country who have scored 100 NTA score in the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Results announced on Tuesday, 11 February 2025.
He has also scored Perfect Score of 300 out of 300 marks in the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Results. Om Prakash Behera hails from Bhubaneswar in Odisha and he was preparing for JEE competitive examination in Kota from last 3 years.
Mothers Left Job to Shift with Son in Kota for JEE Preparation
There is a tale of parents’ sacrifice behind the success of ALLEN Student, Om Prakash Behera, who has secured Perfect Score of 300 marks out of 300 marks in JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Examination. His parents have played crucial role in his success.
Resident of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Om Prakash has been preparing for JEE in Kota from last 3 years for which his mother Smita Rani left her job in Odisha and stayed with him in Kota. Her mother was a subject lecturer in a College in Bhubaneswar but she decided to quit her job to support her son’s education in his IIT JEE preparation.
She shifted with her son in Kota so that her son does not face any problem while staying in Kota. He said that his mother is a pillar of strength for him right through the JEE preparation in Kota. She not only cared and look after him but also provided emotional support and motivation to him.
Sometimes when I would score relatively less marks then my mother used to motivate me. Her mother, Smita Rani told that “Since I wanted my son to keep his focus entirely on the JEE preparation and does not bother about anything else, I decided to shift with him in Kota”.
Father Sought Transfer for Better Connectivity with Son
Om Prakash Behera’s father, Kamalkant is an officer of Odisha Administrative Services who sought transfer from Odisha to Delhi for the sake of his son’s education.
As the distance from Kota to Odisha is long and also there is lack of good connectivity between the two places so Father, Kamalkant shifted to Delhi which has good connectivity with Kota. Om Prakash’s father is living in Delhi from last several years to facilitate education of his son.
Kota ‘Perfect’ Destination for Exam Preparation
Topper Om Prakash says that an acquaintance had told him about Kota, who was also studying in Kota. He guided that there will be a lot of facilities in Kota. Kota will help you in achieving your goals in many ways. Om says that when he came to Kota in 10th, he did not think that he would score perfect.
At that time, I had come to Kota just to study and my only aim was to crack both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Now that I have cracked JEE Main, Om’s aim is to crack Advanced and do B.Tech from Computer Science branch from IIT Bombay.
Faculties Always Ready to Resolve Doubt & Support
He told that there are a lot of facilities in Kota. The faculty helps in every way. If there is any doubt, whenever there is a need for discussion, we message them, they help us. Other friends also study so hard that you also get motivated by seeing them studying.
Books, stationery, study material, everything is easily available here. Kota is a place where children coming to study will never be disappointed.
Did not Keep Phone to Avoid Distraction
Om said that he does self-study for about 8 to 9 hours daily. He had scored 92% in 10th. 12th board exams are going to be held this year. He says that he used to play badminton for recreation. If he needed a break, he used to talk to friends or relax.
He doesn’t go out. He said that he doesn’t have a phone because it distracts. He also likes to read novels. Omprakash says that he used to wake up at 8 in the morning and sleep by 12 in the night. Meanwhile, apart from eating, he keeps studying all the time.
Self-Analysis After the Test
Om said that the teachers and study material are perfect. The faculty has a lot of experience in these exams. I focused on NCERT syllabus for JEE Main. ‘The graph of marks keeps fluctuating in weekly tests, but I tried to give my best. After every test, I used to do self-analysis and see which mistakes were responsible for getting low marks.
In the next test, I used to try not to repeat those mistakes. This has been the mantra of success that instead of focusing on what has passed, I focus on what is happening in the future.
