NTA Session 1 Form Correction Begins at jeemain.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the JEE Main 2026 application form correction window today, December 1st.
Candidates who have registered for Session 1 can now make the necessary changes to their application forms. The process for making the corrections has been made available online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction Deadline
Candidates can make corrections to their application forms until December 2nd. No changes will be accepted after that date. To make corrections, candidates must log in with their application number and password.
What Details can be Corrected?
According to the guidelines issued by the NTA, candidates can modify several details of their application form, including:
- Name
- Category
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Exam City
- Exam Medium
- Academic Details
- Course-Related Information
- Other Details, Including Signature
However, modifications to certain important information are not permitted. These include:
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Permanent Address
- Communication Address
- Emergency Contact Details
These details cannot be changed, so candidates are advised to thoroughly check their forms before proceeding.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Dates
The NTA has already announced that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be held between January 21st and January 30th. Through this exam, candidates will be able to seek admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and various private and government engineering colleges.
How to make corrections to the JEE Main 2026 Application Form?
Candidates can make the necessary corrections to their application form by following the following steps:
- First, visit the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the login link available on the homepage.
- Log in to your account by entering your application number and password.
- Click on the “Application Form Correction” option displayed on the dashboard.
- Carefully read the on-screen instructions and click “Proceed” to proceed.
- Your completed application form will open. Make the necessary corrections.
- After completing the corrections, click the “Submit” button and pay the correction fee, if required.
- Finally, take a printout of the corrected application form and keep it safe.
