NTA Releases Official Notification for JEE Main 2026 Application Corrections
Important information regarding JEE Main 2026 has been released for millions of engineering aspirants. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for both sessions along with the schedule for application form corrections.

JEE Main 2026: Key Exam & Application Dates
- Session 1: January 21–30, 2026
- Session 2: April 1–9, 2026
- Application Deadline: November 27
- Session 2 Applications: To open in February
- Total Applications so far: Over 9.5 lakh students
Application Form Correction Window
According to an education expert from ALLEN Career Institute, NTA has issued an official notice for online application corrections.
- Correction Dates: December 1 and 2
- Last Time to Edit: 11:50 PM on December 2
Students can correct only specific sections of the application form.

- Exam City
- Medium of Examination
- Date of Birth

Details That Cannot Be Edited
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Current & Permanent Address
- Emergency Contact
- Uploaded Photograph
Only One Opportunity for Correction
NTA has clarified that candidates will receive only one chance to edit their application form. Once the form is frozen, no further changes can be made—even before the correction window closes.
After corrections are submitted, students should download the updated confirmation page for verification and record.
