Know Complete Details about the Registration Process
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for the much-awaited Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 1.
Candidates who wish to appear for the January session exam can apply by visiting the official website [jeemain.nta.nic.in](https://jeemain.nta.nic.in). Candidates need to register by clicking on the “New Registration 2026” link provided in the “Candidate Activity” section.
Candidates should note that this application is only valid for Session 1 (January 2026). A separate opportunity to apply for Session 2 (April 2026) will be provided later.
Candidates who wish to appear only for the April session exam can register when the application form is released again.
NTA will conduct the exam in 13 languages this year – English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The Session-2 exam will be conducted between April 1 and April 10, 2026. The application process for this session will begin in January 2026.
Candidates who applied in Session 1 will not need to obtain a new application number; they can log in again with the same application number and pay the fee.
