Students and Experts Demand for Bonus Marks in One Question
The answer keys and recorded responses for the JEE-Main April session—conducted by the NTA—were released late Saturday night. Simultaneously, students were provided with the opportunity to raise objections.
Students cross-checked their recorded responses against the provided answers. Consequently, students raised objections regarding several questions.
Students consulted with experts at ALLEN Career Institute regarding the answers to these questions; subsequently, discrepancies were identified in the answers to four specific questions, where the opinions of the NTA, ALLEN experts, and the students differed.
Following a joint analysis by students and ALLEN experts, it was observed that in the JEE-Main April session examinations, there were four questions for which ALLEN’s proposed answers differed from those provided in the answer key released by the NTA.
Out of these four questions, a demand has been raised for the awarding of bonus marks for one specific question. ALLEN experts have completed their analysis of the papers and have prepared an answer key, against which students can verify their own answers.
According to a notice issued by the NTA, students may challenge the answer key until 11:50 PM on April 13.
