JEE Main Final answer key—Changes in Answers of Provisional Answer key

The final answer key of JEE-Main 2024 April Session (Session 2) has been released by the National Testing Agency on Monday, April 22. After objections on the provisional answer key of JEE Main 2024 Session 2, changes have been made in 11 answers in the final answer key of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 released on Monday.

In this final answer key, 4 questions have been dropped and answers of 7 questions have been changed while one answer has been changed in Gujarati language. The Provisional Answer key of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 was released on April 12 and objections were sought from the aspirants till April 14. Now NTA has released the final answer key of JEE Main 2024 Session 2.

Changes in Answers of Provisional Answer Key

Out of the 15 answers of the provisional answer key, on which ALLEN students had lodged objections after expert advice, 6 answers have been changed. Among the changes in 11 answers made by NTA, changes have been made in 6 answers of Mathematics, out of which 4 answers have been dropped.

Only 1 answer of Mathematics has been changed in Gujarati language. Changes have been made in 5 answers of Chemistry. Talking about the changes made according to the examination dates, changes were made in 4 answers of the examination held on April 4, out of which 3 were in the first shift and 1 in the second shift.

Whereas in examination on April 5, 1 answer of first shift, on April 6, 4 answers including 3 of first shift and 1 of second shift, on April 8, 1 question of first shift and on April 9, one answer of first shift have been changed.

Usually, JEE Main results are also declared along with the Final answer key but the National Testing Agency has not released the results for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 yet. Along with the results, NTA will also release the All India Ranks (AIR) and cut off.

More than 14 lakh Aspirants Appeared in Both the Sessions

More than 14 lakh candidates have appeared for the exam in both the sessions of JEE Main. Through the JEE Main 2024 exam result, 2.5 lakh candidates are to be qualified for Joint Entrance Exam Advanced 2024. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and Session 2 examinations were held in January-February and April months respectively.

The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 examination commenced on 24 January and concluded on 1 February whereas JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination kicked off on April 4 and ended on April 12. The National Testing Agency will also release All India Rank and cut-off along with the result of JEE Main 2024 Session 2.
