Due to Use of Unfair Means, These Aspirants Will Not be Able to Appear in the Examination For 3 Years
The Entrance Examination organizing body National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken action against 39 students and debarred them from the JEE-Main examination for 3 years in cases of use of unfair means during JEE-Main 2024, the country’s biggest engineering entrance examination.
NTA has issued a notification in this regard. In this, information has been given about the JEE Main withheld results of the students who appeared for the examination through multiple application forms. Also the action has been taken for the use of unfair means in JEE Main 2024,
It has been said in the notification that in the results of JEE-Main Session 1 and results of JEE-Main Session 2, the results of many students were withheld. Reasons were being continuously asked from these students through e-mail and other mediums.
In the public notice and information bulletin of JEE-Main, it was stated that filling multiple application forms by a student will not be accepted. If found so, the result can be stopped and cancelled. Multiple applications will be considered unfair means and strict action will be taken.
NTA clarified that as per the directions of the Court, a student cannot obtain two score cards from different application forms in the same year. Therefore, the best score of those students who have appeared for the examination with different application numbers has been released.
