After the final and fifth round of seat allocation of joint seat Counselling conducted by JoSAA for 59,917 seats in 121 colleges of IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI of the country, students who will be allotted any college seat for the first time, will have to report online by 5 pm on July 22. Otherwise their seat will be cancelled.
Those students who are not satisfied with their allotted NIT-IIIT college and want to withdraw the seat acceptance fee by leaving the seat, such students can get the fee withdrawn by 5 pm on July 22.

These students will have to withdraw seat by giving the reason for withdrawal on the option given on the JoSAA website. The remaining fee will be refunded by JoSAA after deducting a fee of Rs. 5000.
Students have the last chance to withdraw their seats, after which no seat or fee will be withdrawn.
After this, special round counselling will be conducted by CSAB in two rounds between 31st July and 14th August for the vacant seats of NIT, IIIT and GFTI. Students can participate in this counselling by keeping or leaving their allotted JoSAA seat.

Students, who are satisfied with their JoSAA allotted seat, and secure their seat by paying partial admission fee during JoSAA counselling, if such students are not allotted any new seat after participating in CSAB counselling, then the seat allotted to them in JoSAA counselling will be re-allocated.
