This Year the Entire Counselling Process is Being Done in Five Rounds Only
As per the notice issued by JoSAA, students who will be allotted seats in NIT, IIIT and GFTI in the last round of JoSAA counselling, they will have to deposit partial admission fee, if these students are satisfied with their college allotted through NIT system.

If the student does not deposit the partial admission fee, his allotted seat will be cancelled even if the student has already deposited the seat acceptance fee. Students will have to deposit the partial admission fee between 24th and 26th July.
This partial admission fee has been kept at Rs 20,000 for SC, ST category students and Rs 40,000 for General, OBC, EWS.
The seat acceptance fee and partial admission fee deposited by the students during counseling will be adjusted in the remaining college fees during their admission.
Those students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat from NIT system and want to participate in CSAB counseling being conducted for vacant seats.
They can participate in CSAB counseling by paying their partial admission fee and securing their allotted seat. This CSAB counseling process will start from 30th July.

Seat allocation for the fourth round of JoSAA counselling 2024 for 59917 seats in 121 institutes including IITs and NITs of the country will be done today, 10th July at 5 pm.
Students who have been allotted college seat for the first time in the fourth round, they will have to upload the required documents by 15th July and pay the seat acceptance fee and do online reporting.
If they do not report, their allotted seat will be cancelled.
