First Semester in IITs between July 24 and August 19
After the completion of JoSAA counseling of IIT-NIT and IIIT of the country, now the students are showing eagerness to take admission in their allotted colleges.
Students are gathering information for final admission on the website of the allotted colleges.
In such a situation, the students who have been allotted IIT after JoSAA counseling will now have to get complete information about the remaining college fees and documents required for admission on the website of the allotted IIT.
Reporting process started for final admission in IIT
For admission in IIT, students are checking the information about the reporting and starting dates given on the website of the allotted IIT.
Apart from this, if the students allotted NIT-IIIT are satisfied with the colleges allotted to them by the NIT system, then they will first have to deposit partial admission fee between 24th and 26th July, which is Rs.45,000 for General, OBC, and EWS and Rs.20,000 for SC-ST.
Only after paying this partial admission fee, students can confirm the seat allotted to them in NIT system colleges in JoSAA counselling. If partial admission fee is not deposited, then their seat will be cancelled.

The seat acceptance fee deposited by the students during counselling will be adjusted in the remaining college fees during their admission.
Such students who secure their seat by paying part admission fee during JoSAA counselling and if no new seat is allotted to them after participating in CSAB counselling, then the seat allotted to them in JoSAA counselling will be re-allotted. The Seat confirmation in NIT-IIIT has commenced today on 24 July.

The first semester of IITs will start from today to 19th August
In this, first semester studies will start from today, 24th July in IIT Delhi.
After this, the first semester studies will start at IIT Guwahati from 25 July, Indore from 26 July, Bombay, Hyderabad, Rupnagar from 29 July, IIT Kanpur, BHU, Bhilai from 30 July, Jodhpur, Palakkad from 31 July, Madras, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati from 1 August, Patna from 2 August, IIT Roorkee from 3 August, Dhanbad from 4 August, IIT Kharagpur, Dharwad, Mandi from 5 August, Jammu, Goa from 7 August and finally on 19 August at IIT Gandhinagar.
